Using public transport anytime soon? Passengers must wear a face covering from 15 June under new rules announced by the Government on Thursday.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps confirmed the news and stated that access to public transport would be denied to anyone refusing to cover their face.
For this reason, PATT Foundation has released a facemask with a twist – if you donate to us, we’ll send you a facemask and donate another to a local food bank.
PATT CEO Andy Steel said: “There are a lot of families out there that need support right now and they cannot afford to protect themselves or their families. So we wanted to extend our reach to supporting these groups in the Hull and East Riding area and we hope that people can get behind this campaign – helping themselves and each other.”
Last week, thanks to your support, PATT made a donation of facemasks to St Philips Food Bank (right).
Make a donation today to support our work in reforestation, receive your facemasks and we’ll ensure your donation is matched in facemasks to a local food bank.
