Carbon neutral medium haul flight
We are committed to making carbon free living a reality, and so we have developed a very simple, yet scientific approach to carbon offsetting.
We have first quantified the emissions from commercial aircraft and have then calculated the emissions per passenger.
We have then looked at how many trees we can plant to offset that those carbon emissions.
For a single passenger on a medium flight (1200km – 4000km or around two – five hours flying time) it will take six trees their entire lifetime of absorbing carbon dioxide, and converting it to oxygen, to remove all of the carbon dioxide produced for that single one way flight. So if there are two of you travelling, and you have booked a return trip it will take four of this product to offset your flights.
